Metropolitan Athos of Latakia visited the Pokrovsky Stauropegic Convent

On July 24, 2018, Metropolitan Athanasios of Latakia accompanied with an escort visited the Pokrovsky Stauropegial Convent.
The Holy Gates of the monastery were met by the Abbess Theophania with the staff of the hotel.
The guests proceeded to the Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, where they bowed to the relics of the holy righteous blessed old Matrona of Moscow, after which a tour of the monastery was conducted.
In gift to Metropolitan Athanasius Abbess Feofaniya presented illuminated on the relics of flowers
